Thank you to all of the PA SNAP-Ed Partners, attendees, speakers, exhibitors and organizers that made this a truly memorable event. At the PA NEN Annual Conference, hundreds of nutrition education champions joined together to strengthen partnerships and advance practices in PA SNAP-Ed and nutrition! Your engagement, ideas, and new connections made the conference a huge success.
Our colleagues at Greener Partners went out of their way to provide a hands on experience. In addition to leading a composting workshop, they brought their Farm Explorer van to the conference. The Farm Explorer is a mobile farm used to teach hands-on lessons about edible plants, seasonal eating, and nutrition.
Congratulations to all of the award winners! On Wednesday April 23, the PA NEN team closed out the conference with an awards ceremony where PA SNAP-Ed organizations recognized outstanding employees and their achievements.

Monday: The Pre-Conference Workshop “Beyond Weight: Rethinking Success Metrics in Nutrition Education” awards 3.5 CPEUs (Lecture Hours - Activity Type 171) in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration’s CPEU Prior Approval Program.
Tuesday: Conference Sessions on April 22nd award 5.25 CPEUs (Lecture Hours - Activity Type 171) and the Poster Session awards 2.75 CPEUs in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration’s CPEU Prior Approval Program (Poster Hours - Activity Type 181).
Wednesday: The Nurturing Educational Gardens with Greener Partners Session on April 23rd awards 2.25 CPEUs (Lecture Hours - Activity Type 171) in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration’s CPEU Prior Approval Program.
