  • New Keystone Kids Go! materials are available. Click here to download the the NEW "Introduction to the Family Activity Guides and the Family Activity Guides"
     
  • Beginning in January 2008, all Keystone Kids Go! trainings which will include the Keystone Go Colorful!, Go Active! and I am Moving I am Learning components will be offered through the Pennsylvania Keys. Check out the Pennsylvania Keys website for the list of training dates and locations here.  Click on the Login button in the upper right-hand corner.  Once you are logged in, you can click on Calendar and search the professional development calendar.
     
  • A training DVD for childcare providers includes both the Go Colorful! (Keystone Color Me Healthy) and Go Active! (Physical Activity Toolkit) components of Keystone Kids Go!  The DVD is available through Penn State Better Kid Care and promotes program sustainability and continued use of program materials by staff members who were not able to attend a face-to-face training session. Lesson materials include an educational DVD that combines video and PowerPoint to enhance your learning experience.

  • Early Childhood Resources: Helpful resource list for Early Learning providers interested in improving nutrition and physical activity practices for children, families and staff.
     
  • Supplemental Activities and Resources including additional small group and food experience activities, physical activity cards, and an annotated bibliography of children's books related to nutrition and activity are available.   • A music CD produced by Choosy Kids, LLC, a company devoted to promoting healthy, active lifestyles early in life. Choosy is a fun character whose name stands for Choose Healthy Options Often and Start Young. Choosy is also an integral component of Head Start’s I am Moving, I am Learning initiative to prevent childhood obesity. The Head Start program is launching this initiative throughout the country.
