Meet Our Staff!


Christine Mullin, MPH, CPH, R.D., Network Director

Christine holds B.S. degrees in Biology and Allied Health (Clinical Dietetics) and a master's degree in Public Health from the University of Connecticut. As a Registered Dietitian, she has worked for Federal, State and Community agencies providing nutrition assessment and education. As director of the New London County WIC Program, her interest in nutrition education developed in the area of providing pertinent, understandable nutrition education to clients of varied education and language backgrounds.
 
As Network Director, Cris carries responsibility for staff and project oversight. She will also work on the creation and implementation of the Network’s social marketing campaign.

Rose Pallotta-Cleland, Network Promoter and Event Coordinator

Rose holds a B.S. degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Penn State University. In addition to past positions in web design, event planning and marketing, she has participated in various local charity events. 
 
Rose coordinates and plans the Network’s professional development events, including seminars, workshops and the annual conference. She also carries responsibility for Network publications, including resource booklets and promotional materials.
 
Amanda Frankeny, RD

Amanda Frankeny holds a B.S. degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Messiah College and attained her Registered Dietitian credentials through Penn State University. Beginning her career, she co-authored nutrition entries for the Food Network’s Healthy Eats and Be Well Philly blogs, developed online nutrition education for an employee wellness portal, and taught for various audiences from urban youth programs to undergraduates at Messiah College.
 
Pleased to be PA NEN’s Community Nutritionist, Amanda acts as a Supplemental Nutrition Education Program (SNAP) liaison, works to expand the social marketing campaign, and writes articles for Food for Thought, PA NEN's Quarterly Newsletter. Keep in-the-nutrition-know by reading her weekly Nutrition Nibbles for news updates!
 
Julie Davis Bartol, Program Assistant

Julie holds a B.A. degree in Letters, Arts and Sciences, with an emphasis in Marketing and Business Concepts, from Pennsylvania State University. Recently, she has completed a variety of graphic and web design classes from H.A.C.C. Her background includes event planning, marketing, website, data entry and budgeting experience. She is a dedicated member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, and an active volunteer for several charity organizations.
 
As Program Assistant, Julie is responsible for updating the databases, keeping the website current, the production of network publications, coordinating and organizing Board Meetings, assisting in event planning and the distribution of nutrition education materials.
