Christine E. Mullin, MPH, CPH, RDN, Network Director

Christine holds B.S. degrees in Biology and Allied Health (Clinical Dietetics) and a master's degree in Public Health from the University of Connecticut. As a Registered Dietitian, she has worked for Federal, State and Community agencies providing nutrition assessment and education. As director of the New London County WIC Program, her interest in nutrition education developed in the area of providing pertinent, understandable nutrition education to clients of varied education and language backgrounds.

As Network Director, Cris carries responsibility for staff and project oversight. She will works on the creation and implementation of the Network’s social marketing campaign and the strategic directions plan.

Rose Pallotta-Cleland, Professional Events and Member Service Coordinator

Rose holds a B.S. degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Penn State University. Rose is currently pursueing her Masters in Science in Nonprofit Management from Grace College. In addition to past positions in web design, event planning and marketing, she has participated in various local charity events.

Rose coordinates and plans the Network’s professional development events, including seminars, workshops and the annual conference. She also carries responsibility for Network coordinating web site updates and design as well as other promotional materials. Rose also serves as the staff liason for the Conference Planning and the Outreach Committees. 

Amanda Frankeny, RDN, LDN, Community Nutritionist

Amanda holds a B.S. degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Messiah College and attained her Registered Dietitian credentials through Penn State University. Beginning her career, she co-authored nutrition entries for the Food Network’s Healthy Eats and Be Well Philly blogs, developed online nutrition education for an employee wellness portal, and taught for various audiences from urban youth programs to undergraduates at Messiah College.

Pleased to be PA NEN’s Community Nutritionist, Amanda is the liason for the Social Marketing Committee; works to expand the "Eat Together PA" social marketing campaign and website; writes the PA NEN's weekly E-newsletter, the "Nutrition News Nibbles"; collaborates with statewide partners to create and distribute PA NEN recipe booklets and other nutrition materials; and updates members regarding food policy and nutrition research across the state! 

Rebecca Gorton, Program Assistant

Becky joined PA NEN in 2016 to provide program and executive support, working alongside the director to coordinate board and network activities. Becky has extensive knowledge and experience ranging from private industry to public education. Becky studied Labor and Industrial Relations at Penn State University and is pursuing her degree in graphic design.

In her free time, Becky enjoys being a taxi cab driver for her 12 year old fraternal twins. Becky is also involved with local military family outreach programs.
